Lyfestyle Things began in 2020 when the world got very small; like working from home, aka the kitchen table kind of small. People were unhappy, bored, and yearning to find stability. To make a change in their own lives at a time when the world seemed to be changing by the minute.
Naturally, when people are forced to stay inside, we turn to the internet to peek at what we've missed, what we've taken for granted, and what we long for in the future. The world may have come to a halt but our online experiences did not. It became the only way to function, connect, or obtain basic essentials that we could no longer go out and pick up.
E-commerce was a powerful tool that kept the world running and we wanted to be part of that. Job security was never a thing one would trust in. There was never such a thing as a safe job position, but in 2020, we quickly realized found how true those words were. We needed a plan B or maybe a plan G. We recognized that getting the “things” people needed online was a way we could help others, and in turn, help ourselves. This was new territory for us. We were experts in the energy and hospitality industries, not e-commerce. There was no time like the present to learn and immerse ourselves in a different industry.  We studied, learned, connected with experts, grew our experience, and built up our knowledge to be a resource for others.
